Dashboard Overview

Check whether anything needs you, scan requests/errors/spend, and open the last five requests from the AnyRouter dashboard home.

The dashboard home is one screen: whether anything needs you, three numbers for the last 7 days, and the last five requests. Charts, heatmaps, and the full plan picker live on Usage and Credits — home stays an operations snapshot, not a settings page.

If your account has no plan and no credits, a welcome banner at the top asks you to pick a plan (with the same Go benefits shown on Pricing) or donate a key to unlock Go for free. The banner hides as soon as you have a plan or any credits.

Overview

Every panel reflects the workspace selected in the sidebar. Switch workspaces and the page refreshes against the new scope.

  1. Status sentence — "does anything need me?" Empty balance, missing API key, or no traffic yet, with a link to fix it. When nothing is wrong, it says so.
  2. Three numbers — requests, errors, and spend for the last 7 days, each with today's total underneath.
  3. Last five requests — status, time, model, latency, and cost. Click a row to open it in Logs.

If you have not created an API key yet, a quick-start guide appears under those three blocks. The welcome banner (pick a plan or donate a key) only shows while you have no plan and no credits.

How it works

Status sentence

Home reads your keys, credit balance, and recent traffic. It surfaces the most urgent item (for example an empty balance that would 402 paid requests) and a count of anything else. A healthy account reads Nothing needs you.

Three numbers

The three tiles summarize the last 7 days for the active workspace:

Counts include successes and post-selection errors. Retries that resolve internally fold into the parent and are not double-counted. For other ranges (today, 30 days, 90 days, custom) or day/week/month grouping, open the Usage Explorer. Heatmaps and weekly model charts also live there, not on home.

Last five requests

The table lists the five most recent requests — status, time, model (with logo), latency, and estimated cost. Click a row to open it in Request Logs. A brand-new workspace shows an empty feed. This list never shows prompt or completion contents; open the log for payloads, subject to Privacy Controls.

Populate an empty dashboard

A just-created workspace shows zeros and an empty request list — that's expected. To start populating it:

  1. Open the Playground from the page header and send a test request. It appears in the last-five list within a few seconds.

  2. Or follow the Quickstart to mint an API key and send a real request from your own code:

  3. Refresh the dashboard. The Requests and Spend tiles update, and the request shows up in the last-five list.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my dashboard spend higher than the upstream provider's price list?

AnyRouter bills managed (non-BYOK) requests at the provider's list price — no AnyRouter markup. A common reason the total looks higher than a flat input/output estimate is cache-write tokens, billed at roughly 1.25× the input rate the first time a prompt populates the provider's cache. The Usage Explorer breaks spend down per request so you can see exactly what was charged.

Where did the heatmap and weekly charts go?

They live on Usage. Home is the one-screen snapshot; Usage is the place to explore ranges, models, and trends.

Where do I pick a plan?

On Credits (user menu → balance / Credits), or from the welcome banner when your account has no plan and no credits. Home does not show the full Go / Pro / Max checkout grid.

Where do I see per-request details?

Click any of the last five rows, or open Logs in the sidebar. Request Logs exposes prompt and completion bodies (subject to your privacy controls), headers, routing decisions, retries, and the full cost breakdown.
