Mistral (BYOK)
How to create an API key for Mistral and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.
Mistral is a supported BYOK provider. Bring your own API key string, and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls. This provider has a free tier or free credits — a good place to start.
Get your API key
- Log in to the Mistral Console.
- Open API keys in the sidebar.
- Click Create new key, name it, and copy it.
Gotchas
Mistral offers a free tier; keys are plain alphanumeric strings.
Add it to AnyRouter
- Go to Dashboard → BYOK.
- Find Mistral under Available and click Add key.
- Paste your key into the API key field.
- Create key: Mistral console
- Default base URL (editable on the key form):
https://api.mistral.ai/v1
- Click Save. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Mistral before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
