Groq (BYOK)
How to create an API key for Groq and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.
Groq is a supported BYOK provider. Bring your own API key string, and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls. This provider has a free tier or free credits — a good place to start.
Get your API key
- Log in to the Groq Console.
- Open API Keys in the sidebar.
- Click Create API Key, enter a name, Create, and copy it immediately (
gsk_...).
Gotchas
Groq has a free tier; keys begin with gsk_.
Add it to AnyRouter
- Go to Dashboard → BYOK.
- Find Groq under Available and click Add key.
- Paste your key into the API key field.
- Create key: Groq console
- Default base URL (editable on the key form):
https://api.groq.com/openai/v1
- Click Save. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Groq before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
