Azure (BYOK)
How to create an API key for Azure and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.
Azure is a supported BYOK provider. Bring your own Azure JSON array describing each deployed model's endpoint and key, and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls.
Get your API key
- In the Azure Portal, deploy the models you want via Azure AI Foundry.
- For each deployment, copy its endpoint URL, API key, and model id.
- Paste a JSON array of
{ model_slug, endpoint_url, api_key, model_id }into AnyRouter.
Gotchas
Each endpoint URL must end with /chat/completions. You may set a custom Base URL per deployment.
Add it to AnyRouter
- Go to Dashboard → BYOK.
- Find Azure under Available and click Add key.
- Paste your key into the API key field.
- Click Save. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Azure before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
