Amazon Bedrock (BYOK)

How to create an API key for Amazon Bedrock and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.

Amazon Bedrock is a supported BYOK provider. Bring your own AWS credentials (access key + secret + region), as a JSON object or an API key string, and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls.

Get your API key

  1. In the AWS Console, open Bedrock.
  2. Request model access for the models you want to use.
  3. Create an IAM user/role with bedrock:InvokeModel and generate access keys.
  4. Paste the access key id + secret + region into AnyRouter (JSON or API key string).

Gotchas

Bedrock uses AWS credentials, not a single API key. Requests bill to your AWS account.

Add it to AnyRouter

  1. Go to Dashboard → BYOK.
  2. Find Amazon Bedrock under Available and click Add key.
  3. Paste your key into the API key field.
  4. Click Save. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Amazon Bedrock before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
